Benedictine Monastery

Our Lady of the Annunciation of Clear Creek, a monastic foundation of the French Abbey Notre Dame de Fontgombault



The monastery is sited on an open lot of land outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The primary design concern of the monks of Clear Creek was that the monastery create two separate realms within the complex. The first, a public realm, for those visiting the monastery to attend weekend retreats, and the second, a private realm for the monks who are meditating and praying.
